Barley Meadow Touring Park accept bookings subject to the following Terms & Conditions;
We reserve the right to refuse admittance or to immediately terminate the visit of any person or persons who contravene these Terms and Conditions or whose conduct is detrimental to Barley Meadow Touring Park or likely to cause distress or nuisance to other guests and visitors. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you. Bookings and fees are accepted on the understanding that all these rules, terms and conditions are observed.
The person who makes the booking is responsible for the booking and warrants that they, and all members of their party will not exceed the numbers stated at the time of booking unless we are notified of, and agree to, the change in advance of your arrival. We do not accept parties or large groups. Maximum booking is 2 pitches of no more than 4 persons per pitch in accordance with our prices page.
If the size of your unit, including parking your car, any tents and gazebos, is larger than 6M wide by 8M deep you must advise us in advance so we may allocate the correct sized pitch. Should you subsequently alter your requirements we cannot guarantee to provide an appropriately sized pitch. Every endeavour will be made to allocate guests the pitch of their choice, however, it must be clearly understood that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch. Your pitch number and directions to it will be confirmed on arrival. If you are in any doubt whether you are on the right pitch please check with Reception. Any guest on the wrong pitch may be required to move.
The earliest arrival is 1.00pm (unless agreed in advance) and all pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of your departure otherwise an additional nights pitch fee will be charged. The latest arrival time is 6pm for manned check-in or 8pm for electronic check-in.
On arrival, all customers and visitors (including day visitors) are to report to reception (excluding electronic check-in). We are to be notified about day visitors in advance of their visit.
If we have not heard from you within 24 hours of your expected arrival we reserve the right to re-let your pitch.
Change or cancellation of the Holiday by us – If we are unable to provide the booked holiday or we have had to cancel your booking before the holiday is due to start, you are entitled to a full refund of any money you have paid.
Change or cancellation of the Holiday by you – We (or Pitch-Up if booked online) will take a 15% deposit upon booking your stay with us and the balance is then due in full within 14 days of the start of your stay. If at the time of making a booking your planned stay is within 14 days of arriving then the full balance is due immediately. Deposits are non refundable and the balance becomes non refundable if cancelled within 14 days of your planned stay. We recommend you take holiday insurance as applicable and depending on your circumstances to cover such unforeseen/unplanned losses.
For everyone’s safety the park has a speed limit of 5 mph, please observe.
No lorries or other commercial vehicles to be brought to the park unless agreed with us in advance. Only 1 car can be parked on your booked pitch, with a maximum of 2 cars per pitch (subject to additional fee) further car(s) to be parked in the car park unless agreed with us in advance – in all cases more that one car/vehicle must be agreed with us in advance and paid for accordingly.
Please respect other guests and be quiet from 10:30pm until 7am, if entering the site after these times you may park outside the barrier and walk to your pitch or pitches.
The site water supply is metered, and as such is for normal caravan/camping activity and NOT for filling paddling pools, cleaning (eg by hose or jet wash) or other heavy water usage reasons, further you are not permitted to connect a hose to the site supply supply unless it is at the motorhome service point (for mothorhomes only) or the fully serviced pitches (for direct connection to caravan/motorhome only). please always use water wisely.
Open fires and fire pits are not permitted and BBQ’s must only be used above ground level, please protect the grass and operate any BBQ safely.
Please keep your pitch tidy and free of rubbish, we have recycling facility for household waste onsite, including glass. Only household waste may be disposed of at our site recycling area.
Strictly no ball/throw games are to be played in the park area owing to the size of the park we cannot accommodate play areas. Drones are also not allowed on the park.
Children are to be supervised by the parent/guardian at all times whilst on park notably in the amenity block and games room.
Breakages, damage or vandalism may be charged at the management’s discretion.
No loud music, noise or other behaviour that interferes with other peoples quiet enjoyment of the park allowed at any time.
Use of Electric hook-up’s (EHU) is only for general domestic purposes in line with caravan/camping activity. Electricity is NOT for re-charging hybrid or electric vehicles or other non-domestic activity unless you have agreed this (and paid for it) in advance. Only the allocated and marked EHU point must be used, you must NOT attempt to use another EHU without agreement.
The site is monitored and recorded using CCTV for safety & security reasons.
Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times (unless within the dog area or agreed with us in advance).
The use of generators is not permitted on the park due to noise levels, unless we have agreed this with you in advance.
Maximum booking length is 21 days (for hardstanding pitches) or 14 days for tents/awnings/trailer tents placing groundsheets onto a grass pitch (unless you are prepared to move the tent/awning to allow the grass to recover) – this is simply to allow the grass to stay alive and not spoil the park for the next camper(s).
Maximum pitch occupancy is 4 persons and no more than 2 dogs (2 people & 1 dog is included in the pitch price).
